Ten Chimneys is just w. of SR 83 at S43 W31575 Depot Rd., following signs. The romance of the 1930s and '40s permeates the estate of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. The narrated Full Estate Tour includes the three-story Main House, the rustic Studio, the enchanting Cottage, gardens, and the exteriors of the Poolhouse, Greenhouse and Creamery. The couple's personal effects and original furnishings are displayed in the Main House. There are no ropes and nothing is under glass on the estate, so guests enjoy a barrier-free view of the décor.
Ages 0-11 are not permitted. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are strongly recommended. Tours run regardless of weather conditions. Photography is not permitted inside the buildings.
