George W. Brown Jr. Ojibwe Museum & Cultural Center is 2 blks. s. of SR 47 at 603 Peace Pipe Rd., just s. of the Indian Bowl. A collection of Native American artifacts dates to the mid-18th century. A four-seasons display demonstrates Indian activities, clothing and living arrangements. Of interest is a 24-foot dugout canoe discovered off the shores of Strawberry Island and thought to be 200 years old.
