Pros: It was clean and convenient to downtown.
Cons: I don't think this should qualify as a four star hotel. The "state of the art fitness center" was only comprised of three machines in a tiny room. There was a lack of storage space and surfaces in the hotel where they are typical in other hotels.

Pros: The bed. I sleep on an air mattress at home, so this is a real treat. Also loved the location - right by stops for Badger Bus/Greyhound.
Cons: The shower did not have any kind of step/ledge, to help raise one's legs during bathing. This is good for aging joints. I received a food offer of $20 for $15 at the on-site Portage Pi. Website pricing did not match actual prices.

Pros: The decor was cool, it was close to the capitol
Cons: The smell. The extra charges not represented on the bill they had me sign. Bad food. In the middle of fraternity row.

I was disappointed that the...
Pros: The hotel itself was decorated in a very fun and creative way. The room and common areas were very clean
Cons: No disclosure on location. This hotel is on a Greek row. We were awake our first night there, a Thursday night, until 3 am with vibrating walls from music blaring in building across street and screaming and yelling from partying students. I called the front desk at 2am, after 3 solid hours of this incessant disruption, asking if there was an ordinance for noise? Front desk was slightly rude to me and I got very angry and told “her” that I wanted it noted in my file I was not happy and that I wanted to speak to a manager about this very misleading location in their hotel description as well as getting us a different room. The walls were paper thin so we heard every word our neighbors said, esp the ones that arrived back at 2am, obviously drunk and extremely loud. I never received a call, a note or and verbal outreach from anyone. In fact, every time you pass the front desk the staff, be it one or three members, never once greeted either of us. Parking is included in your stay, weather you like it or not, to the tune if $25.00/night. Parking is Valet ONLY and you are expected to tip staff, which are from an outside company, every time they retrieve your car which amounted to twice a day. This was NOT disclosed by hotel, another dupe! Paid $435 for two nights in Madison. What a disappointment.
