Pros: Check in was easy. They provided a pack & play when asked.
Cons: The carpet is so dirty that you'd better wear your shoes all the time. I was also bit by some unknown bugs. It's been itchy for a few days.Bunch of college kids, a bit noisy.

I liked the free newspapers. I noted there were washing machines in a room down the hall. The one thing that I didn't try was the free internet. Just didn't have time or the need. I would have preferred extra outlets near the bed as opposed to near the desk, but not a big problem. No real complaints.
Pros: I tried to find the cheapest hotel that I could that was on the west side of Madison, more or less near the belt line. This is that hotel. It wasn't luxurious, but then I wasn't looking for luxurious. It was perfectly adequate.
Cons: I think that two of the pillows were feather, which I am allergic to, but no proves of any kind. Everything worked. Comfortable bed. Pleasant star. Adequate restaurant right next door. Free breakfast was adequate. No eggs, sausage and bacon.
