Milton House Museum is at 18 S. Janesville St. Built by Joseph Goodrich in 1844, this six-sided, 20-room structure was the first poured-concrete home in the United States and operated as a stagecoach inn. A guided tour includes the house, an Underground Railroad tunnel, an 1837 log cabin and a country store. Also featured is a miniature replica of the original inn. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$8; $6 (ages 62+); $4 (ages 5-17).
Hours: Guided tours every half-hour daily 10-4, Memorial Day-Labor Day; Tues.-Fri. by appointment, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
