Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum is at 2220 N. Terrace Ave. This 16th-century Italian Renaissance-style villa was designed and built by architect David Adler in 1923 for metals mogul Lloyd Smith of the A.O. Smith Corp. The museum features fine and decorative arts from the 15th through the 18th centuries, wrought-iron masterpieces by Cyril Colnik and a classic Renaissance garden. Changing exhibits emphasize decorative arts plus drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture with architectural, European and garden-themed subject matter.
