The front doors of the hotel were locked when we arrived to check in. We had to go across the street to a sister hotel and have the front desk clerk call our hotels front desk clerk to let us in. Our front desk clerk couldn't find my reservation in the computer so she had to call the sister hotel front desk clerk to confirm our room reservation.
Pros: The hotel was located close to the attractions we wanted to visit while in town.
Cons: The continental breakfast was less than desirable.

Pros: Usually I have to bring a clip to keep the curtains from pulling apart, no need for that. Had shuttle bus. Checking out the man was very nice and the breakfast was nice.
Cons: Stunk soooo bad in the room, right when you walk in, need carpet cleaned or carpet fresh on the carpet, lights VERY dim, very noisy plumbing, very old smelling, carpet dirty on stairs, no bananas at breakfast& homeless person camped outside for awhile.

Pros: Front desk clerk was pleasant and so was one housekeeper who brought up a working coffeemaker.
Cons: Small bathroom; coffee maker didn't work; unattractive; tiny elevator; old. A housekeeper was overheard swearing (but then apologized when she realized I heard her). No beverage or food service was available without crossing the street to another property

Pros: It was close to the events I wanted to attend.
Cons: Room appeared clean but didn't want to look in the corners. Bathroom sink and tub drains did not drain well so had to deal with standing water when using. Bed comfort was just OK. Sheets were paper thin and didn't even have a matress pad.

Cons: Inn side wasn't always staffed - had to call hotel side to get service, even in daytime hours. Host(ess)'s at restaurant on hotel side were a little brusque, and on one occasion service at bar was slow.

Pros: Room was recently remodeled so it was clean. Hotel was pretty quiet overall.
Cons: Wi-fi was terrible. Also our room was not in the Ambassador Hotel itself - it was in the annex across the street. Definitely not the same experience. I don't think this was adequately delineated when we booked the room.

Cons: Our room was tripled booked. We received our room keys upon arrival but decided to bring our belongings to the room later so we could do things in the city. When we returned early evening and carried our things upstairs, our room was already open with a wedding party inside. It took an hour to figure everything out including sending us across the street with all our things to find out that we had to go back across to our previous location for our room. The whole experience was just crappy and a downer to what was a great day. I will now pay a little extra to stay in a nicer hotel.

Pros: The general manager and the guest manager Connie were extremely accomodating when I had major concerns about my stay.
Cons: The waiters in the restaurant had very poor guest swevice skills. It was actually one if the worst hotel restaurant experience ive ever had.
They need new young people who are trained well in customer service and satisfaction.

Shuttle service fail!
Pros: They upgraded our room for booking early.
Cons: The shuttle bus service left us, and several other people who werestaying at the hotel, standing in the rain after the Brewer game for 45minutes. Santiago the driver said that he would be there waiting for usas soon as the game was over!
