National Historic Cheesemaking Center is at 2108 6th Ave. Located in a restored railroad depot, the museum explores the history of cheesemaking in Wisconsin. See a replica of a late 1900's cheese factory and cheesemaking equipment, including huge copper kettles used in the process, as well as a restored caboose and a cow named Honey Belle. Exhibits provide information about dairy farming, local history and the railroad. The restored early 20th-century Imobersteg Farmstead Cheese Factory and its original contents is now part of the center's campus.
