Pros: Close to shops and restaurants, quiet, clean.
Cons: TV channels weren't working. Not a big deal but couldn't get anything but infomercials and one movie channel. Staff was okay but not overly friendly. Almost like they were all distracted. Tried to say hi to the cleaning staff and she didn't even say hi back. Kind of grumpy.

Pros: Room and bedding was clean. Desk clerk was professional. Located right on the river and walking distance to Lake Michigan. Continental breakfast offered egg mcmuffins, waffles, breakfast burritos, cereal, bagels, yogurt and muffins. Although a small area with a microwave, it was filled with more options than other hotels. Unfortunately have to take food to room--nowhere to sit. It's a decent older hotel kept in nice shape.
Cons: Hotel Location was next to Main Street and sirens were loud that night. Our room was within earshot of breakfast nook. Apparently some people had to leave at 4am and their doors slamming shut plus the beep from the microwave (although breakfast wasn't to open until 6:30am) woke me up and never got back to sleep. I wish we would have realized how thin the walls were and the poor room location and would have asked for 2nd floor instead. I realize these issues weren't the fault of the hotel--more of a situational thing. The price could have been lower considering the age of the hotel.

Pros: We thought we were getting a two queen bed room which we reserved and did not. Could not regulate the thermostat and were awake due to traffic and loud other guests at like 1:30 in the morning. Asked where to go and hardly got an answer and so on. Will not be back.
Cons: My Husband and I had to leave for a medical emergency by 3. They couldn't print our receipt because when we checked in and out the printer was down. We should have at least been given a room discount since check in is 11 and check in is 3. WE were gone by 3. Not our fault.

Pros: Facility was clean and in very good condition. The room was a comfortable place to sleep. There was a very nice sun room with a view of the river.
Cons: Many little things made us wonder how invested the employees are in the business. The sidewalk was not very well shoveled. Our windows were very dirty. The WiFi was difficult to access, and the staff was not a lot of help. The wrong card was used to charge my room (corrected on the spot.) Vacuuming in the hallway started a bit early (8a).

Pros: Very friendly staff. Great location along the river with the dinning room facing the river. Direct access to boardwalk and walking distance from many restaurants.
Cons: Sound insulation is poor. You hear every step that your neighbor takes.

Pros: The location of the hotel is along the river so my wife and I took a long walk which was nice.
Cons: We stayed two nights. When we came back to our room that afternoon, our room was not made up. I told the fellow at the desk. He apologized for it not being made up but said he did not have anyone available to do it. He offered us a set of clean towels but nothing more.

Pros: Small clean comfortable hotel, that is in a great location if you are going on one of the charter fishing trips. They even had the breakfast ready at 4:30 am for us leaving on the early fishing trips. Had items that were easy to grab and take with you so that was nice!
Cons: Only a double bed option -no queens, but the beds were comfortable. A little pricey I thought for the accommodations, but you are paying for the location.
