Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum is at 1816 10th St. Housed in a 1926 Hamilton factory, this museum includes what is reputed to be the world's largest collection of wood type and wood type patterns. It also contains 19th- and 20th-century printing equipment, much of which works and is still used to print. Exhibits include hand-operated printing presses, artisan tools, cutting patterns and rare type specimen catalogs.
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
