AAA Editor Notes
Vore Buffalo Jump, off I-90 exit 205, following signs, was a natural sinkhole used by Native American tribes to trap and kill herds of bison during communal hunts 1550-1800. Today the sinkhole is preserved as an active archaeological site. Visitors can follow a self-guiding trail with interpretive signs that leads to the floor of the sinkhole. An exhibit building shaped like a teepee includes displays about the history of the site.
