Old Trail Town is 3 mi. w. on US 14/16/20 at 1831 DeMaris Dr. Featured is a group of historic buildings with indoor exhibits reassembled on the first site of the frontier town of Old Cody. Highlights include the grave of John “Jeremiah” Johnson and a log cabin used as a hideout by Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid and other members of the Wild Bunch.

The Museum of the Old West houses guns, carriages, clothing and many prehistoric and historic Plains Native American relics.
