National Bighorn Sheep Center is at 10 Bighorn Ln. Through the use of dioramas, mounted animals, hands-on exhibits and DVDs visitors can learn about the history and biology of the bighorn sheep. “Sheep Mountain” replicates the bighorn's natural habitat. It focuses on predator-prey relationships, seasonal changes in habitat conditions, and plant and animal life with which bighorns interact. Half-day guided wildlife viewing tours are available by reservation Nov.-Mar. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$4; $2 (ages 8-17); $8 (family). Wildlife viewing tour $100.
Hours: Daily 9-6, Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day; Mon.-Sat. 10-4, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
