AAA Editor Notes
Chinese Joss House Museum, at 920 Front St. adjacent to the Uinta County Museum, pays tribute to Chinese immigrants who resided in the area circa 1870-1930. The building is a replica of an 1874 Chinese temple that burned down in 1922. Exhibits include archeological artifacts; historic photographs; and items from the late 19th to early 20th centuries, including pottery, paintings and other objets d'art.
