AAA Inspector Notes
This inn has an upscale lobby, log cabins with a deck, hotel and motel units, loft-style rooms and a 10-person hot tub. Some bathrooms feature a makeup mirror and double vanities. The fireplace in the lobby is a welcoming sight on a cold day, and as an added bonus, the local shuttle bus stops in front of the property. If you are traveling with family or friends, be sure to ask about the units with a sofa bed. The stand-alone cabins are very close together. Smoke free premises. 90 units, some efficiencies, kitchens and cabins. 1-2 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: Very clean, very comfortable bed and pillow, great furnished kitchen and sitting room with everything you could need. Nice porch with parking at front door. BEST COFFEE ANYWHERE! Little pricy but area was totally booked with events. Would pay for stay at this place again. Stayed 2 nights, senior age sisters. One of the managers gave us great tourism help.
Cons: Breakfast would have been nice but there was great coffee and fruit. Not much to dislike about this place.

Pros: nice location, walk to downtown but away from the noise and traffic. nice property.
Cons: a little pricey, but excellent room and after all it is jackson. For the area I think this is a great value.

Pros: Location is good with easy walking into main part of Jackson and easy exit. Room was dark with black valence on window, dark linens and carpet. Generally clean. Fruit in morning at main lobby plus coffee etc. Two sinks in bathroom (one in and one just outside the bathroom) make dressing in the morning easy. Nice to have refrig and microwave, too/ Just too dark in the room.
Cons: Also the light between the beds is such that you have to get up out of bed to turn it on or off. Hard to get to electric outlets. Lamp on bureau blocks mirror or tv. Floor lamp behind table is cheap and not very bright. One bed was quite broken down. It is ok but we'd probably try another place next time. The cabins look cute but all open onto the parking lot so it you want to use the porch you are looking at your car - too bad! Note there is no elevator so you have to walk up stairs to many rooms

Pros: This was our return visit and it didn't disappoint. We liked the Elk first time and could have stayed longer both visits. A quiet location in an amazing location for Jackson and the Tetons. The log cabin was very comfortable and private with ample space for travellers with lots of luggage for an extended business/leisure visit to USA. We would recommend the Elk very highly.
