In the back of a liquor and wine store is a hidden gem serving a variety of small plates, addictive entrees and high-end salumi and cheese. Seasonal dishes may include bacon-wrapped medjool dates with chorizo, duck fillet, lamb skewers and Gulf shrimp with piquillo peppers. The fond memory of the pea and butter lettuce salad and grilled rib-eye with kale is still close to my heart. Try the chocolate salumi for dessert.
