I ride three miles north on the bike path, stop, visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art, then have an amazing lunch with a view.
AAA Inspector Notes
Overlooking the Elk Refuge, the innovative menu includes a beer-battered trout fish and chips, bison gyro, farro salad and a popular gooey french onion grilled cheese sandwich. The elk-bison stew makes a great starter. An expanded kids' menu includes a "decorate your own cookie kit." The whole family can bicycle to this restaurant from Town Square and stop for lunch right off the bike path. Make a day of it and enjoy a tour of the museum to view exhibits, incredible wildlife art and walk the 3/4 mile sculpture trail.
