Sinks Canyon State Park is 7.5 mi. s.w. on SR 131. Moose, bighorn sheep and other wild game often can be sighted. The Popo Agie River disappears into the sinks of the Madison Limestone and reappears in a rise one-quarter of a mile down the canyon in a large trout pool.The Sinks Canyon State Park Visitor Center provides information about natural features and recreational opportunities.Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
