Riverton Museum is at 700 E. Park Ave. The museum interprets the story of 20th-century homesteaders who brought the town to life in 1906. Displays include fixtures and merchandise from an early 20th-century general store, drugstore and post office. Northern Arapaho and Shoshone Native American artifacts also are exhibited.
An outdoor display features early 20th-century farm machinery.
