Wind River Heritage Center, 1075 S. Federal Blvd., displays 62 full-size mounts and 20-plus head mounts of bears, bighorn sheep, bison, deer, elk, moose, wolves and other animals. Other highlights include Native American art; an extensive collection of traps; and 50 period-dressed wax figures of such notable Westerners as Lewis and Clark, Jim Bridger, Big Nose George Parrot and Cattle Kate. Guided tours are available. Pets on leash are allowed. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
