Trail End State Historic Site is at 400 Clarendon Ave. The site is the former home of Sen. John B. Kendrick, the “Cowboy Senator.” Set on 3.8 acres, the fully furnished 1913 Flemish-revival mansion has elaborate woodwork, stained-glass windows, chandeliers and hand-painted walls and ceilings. Exhibits reflect the period 1913-33.
