Hot Springs State Park is at the n.e. edge of town on US 20 and SR 789. The park contains mineral baths, pools, hot mineral springs, terraces and hot waterfalls, and is home to the state's bison herd. Of particular interest is Bighorn Hot Spring, which releases 3.6 million gallons daily and is one of the largest hot mineral springs in the world. Black Sulphur Springs and White Sulphur Springs are other springs within the park.
Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
