George Johnston Museum

George Johnston Museum is 1 km (.6 mi.) w. of the Nisutlin Bay Bridge at Km-post 1244 on the Alaska Hwy. George Johnston, a Tlingit Indian, recorded his culture through his camera. A selection of Johnston's work, displays of the Tlingit tribe's rich and colorful history, Tlingit dancing costumes and pioneer items are exhibited.
