Pros: The bath with a view was fabulous especially welcome after a long day in the sun and humidity. The fruit platter was a lovely touch.
Cons: The water in the rooms was not complementary. Free water is a must I feel in a hotel like this.I would have preferred a bottle of free water each day than the free fruit platter. Also the option of tea as well as coffee in the room would be nice.

Pros: The lush gardens and the bird song; the private entrance into Chichen Itza; the mayan bungalow and terrace. The staff were all amazingly helpful.
Cons: Quality of lunch buffet was poor as it catered to bus loads of daytrippers; a la carte dinner was much better.

Pros: Fantastic location. we stayed in the main hotel which has a wonderful 1920's charm. Rooms were very comfortable Being 5 mins walk from the ruins means you can get there before the tour buses. The reception arranged a great tour guide for us at short notice and laundered cloths we gave them at 10pm by 9.30 the next morning!
Cons: WiFi only available in the lobby. It would be good to have this in the room
