AAA Editor Notes
MACAY Museum (Museo Fernando García Ponce Macay) is on Calle 60 next to the cathedral. It exhibits the work of Yucatecan artists in two floors of rooms built around an interior patio. There are paintings by Fernando Castro Pacheco, who created the murals in the Government Palace. The museum also presents temporary exhibits of art from other parts of Mexico. The Revolution Passage (Pasaje de la Revolución), a pedestrian walkway connecting the museum and the cathedral, is an outdoor exhibit space for various sculptures.
