Cons: The hotel is in a middle of major renovation. I was not told about it when I made the booking. Couldn't rest after a long flight due to noise, she of painting etc etc
I think it's booking.com responsibility to advise the client of this before committing. It's a big disappointment.
Pros: Breakfast good
Cons: From design not so good
family with older children
Pros: Food was superb and the service excellent in all areas, One of the best hotels in Merida without a doubt.

Pros: The staff at this hotel is marvelous. They have amazing customer service skills and make you feel very welcomed at their facilities and in your visit to Merida, Yucatan.
When planning to visit, i will most definitely plan to stay here.
Pros: Bartender Gasper and Mr.Valrika in the reception were exceptionally good at their jobs and very pleasant to deal with.
Pros: - nice room, big bed
- good internet (however for 150 MXN/day, approx 10 USD)
- nice breakfast buffet
- helpful staff
- easy to get to by taxi
- parking free
Cons: - a bit off the city center in case you like to walk back home after having had dinner in the city center
- internet for pay
Pros: Good location and helpful staff. They also allowed me to do a late check out.
Cons: I booked a room with a king size bed and they gave me one with two twin beds because they're fully booked and they'd already assigned my room to someone else. I had a welcome cocktail included, when I asked for it, it was orange juice with a dash of cranberry syrup.
Pros: the comfort of the surrounding
Cons: I had to pay for internet
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful restaurant. Nice location: walking distance from Paseo Montejo, US consulate, car rental and currency exchange agencies.
Cons: I thought wifi was free when i made the booking. I had to upgrade to a different room to get 'free' wifi and breakfast.
Pros: A lovely period building, on the edge of the main town, renovated to the high standard you would expect from Intercontinental. A short taxi ride to the old town centre.
Cons: A problem that is unlikely to recur! They warned us about work on the plumbing during the night and we were expecting there to be no water. However the banging from the plumbing works brought guests onto the landing! A phone call stopped the noise and the next morning the manager was extremely sorry about the unexpected disruption.
Pros: Friendly staff eager to help
Cons: Slightly old fashioned aura about the place. But adequate for our needs.
