Dawson City Museum is on Fifth Ave. Gold rush items are displayed at the museum, which contains a smithy, a general store, an old miner's cabin, a saloon and Chilkoot Hall. Indigenous artifacts and an outdoor transportation exhibit with locomotives from the Klondike Mines Railway also are featured.
$9; $7 (senior citizens and high school students with ID); $5 each for pre-booked parties of 6+; free (ages 0-6); $18 (family, two adults and two children under 18).
Hours: Daily 10-6, Victoria Day weekend-Labour Day; Tues.-Sat. 10-2, day after Labour Day-Sept. 30; by appointment rest of year.
