Cerro de la Bufa

Cerro de la Bufa (Bufa Hill) overlooks the city from the n.e. Part of the Organos Mountain range, the summit of this rocky outcrop can be reached by taking the Zacatecas Cable Car. At an elevation of 8,770 feet, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the city below and the surrounding mountains. There are also small restaurants and souvenir stands at the summit. You can ride the cable car back down or descend on foot via a series of staircases. Several commemorative equestrian statues stand at the base of the hill.
