Pedro Coronel Museum

Pedro Coronel Museum is on Plaza Santo Domingo, about 2 blks. w. of Plaza de Armas. It houses the outstanding private collection of noted Zacatecan artist and sculptor Pedro Coronel, which includes works by Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Marc Chagall.

Other displays include Coronel's tomb and an exhibit of his own sculpture and paintings; pre-Columbian pieces and colonial-era works by Zacatecano artists; Chinese, Indian, Greek and Egyptian art; and a fine collection of Mesoamerican and African masks.
