Concord Museum, 200 Lexington Rd., contains 13 historical and decorative arts galleries, five period rooms, audio presentations and hands-on activities for adults and children. The introductory film “Exploring Concord” provides a historical overview. Of particular interest are the lantern from Paul Revere's famous ride; the contents of Ralph Waldo Emerson's study, arranged as they were in 1882; and a large collection of Henry David Thoreau's possessions, including the bed, desk and chair from Walden Pond. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
