Hale Farm and Village is at 2686 Oak Hill Rd. A number of historic structures can be explored on the 90-acre farm in the Cuyahoga Valley. This working farm and restored village simulates the sights, sounds and smells of Wheatfield Village, a fictional re-creation representing bustling 19th-century Western Reserve townships. Artisans demonstrate basket making, brick making, broom making, candle making, glassblowing, spinning, weaving and other activities of the mid-1800s. Visitors can see cattle, horses, sheep, pigs and chickens. Visitors can join in daily hands-on programs involving farm chores and historic crafts and trades. Food is available. Time: Allow 3 hours minimum.
