Mount Olivet Cemetery, s. end of Market St., contains the graves of Francis Scott Key and his wife; at least 408 “Unknown Confederates” from the battles of Antietam and Monocacy; Barbara Fritchie; and Thomas Johnson, Maryland's first elected governor. The Revolutionary War Hessian Barracks are nearby.
