On 53 sprawling acres in the Blue Ridge foothills, this country resort offers historic ambience, modern luxurious amenities and a variety of dining options. Rooms offer crown molding and deluxe beds. As geese paddle around the ponds, guests can relax in rooms exuding Southern charm and featuring antique furnishings, luxurious seating and sumptuous bedding. Many of the rooms and suites scattered in a variety of buildings offer patios, balconies and/or fireplaces. Smoke free premises. 168 units. 3 stories, interior/exterior corridors.

superb, from bell/car station, to check in, dining etc. The shuttle driver was top notch (Tim?). will stay there again, hopefully for a longer stay. Dining room and food was top shelf.

Room was clean. Second day there was nothing done to clean up. Called sent someone to clean at 5 PM. Unacceptable!! Disappointing for a high end hotel.
