The staff were friendly, the location was great, the rooms were clean, the hotel was fine. Maybe I’m just old-fashioned but the seating in the room was uncomfortable — for both my husband and me. We stayed three days, to see a skating competition down the road. Early morning, late night, we appreciate a place to sit but the small couch and ottoman just hurt our backs. Small complaint, overall, but annoying. I was dismayed there were no drawers in the bedside “table”. One had handles but it was for decoration. Again, small complaint. I was most disappointed to find no access to complimentary coffee (other than the single-serve packet left in the room). Hot water was provided in the lobby but coffee had to be purchased from the food vendor in the lobby “cafe”. Once again, small potatoes but it’s a nickel-and-diming that I simply find unsavory. If there’s a Drury Inn option, I’m there in a heartbeat! But…this was clean, bed was comfortable, it was convenient, and people were friendly. I just really value my coffee and sitting comfort.
