great hotel and awesome area

No doubt, the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel is impressive overall! Positives include a cool Rock memorabilia venue and Rock music piped throughout, great food selections and expansive, modern slots with a large non smoking area. We had a great time playing! Our hotel room was very clean and the bed comfortably firm. Negatives were suprising....we felt it was overwhelming when walking in from self park. We were dragging along our own luggage...not help or carts in self park which is still $30/day. Signs were not great for checkin and staff seems short with directions when asked. The towers were not explain to us by the check in person, and her directions to the elevators were sparse. Frustrated, we literally had to sit down and break out a map. Lastly, it was not clear when we booked through AAA Travel we would be hit with another $35 charge from the hotel for fees. Not cool. So, 3+ stars.

We checked in at 5:00 P.M. at Sunday June 11, 2023. On the following day June 12, 2023 we went out with my partner at 9.00 A.M. and returned 2:30 P.M. to our room expecting that it is already cleaned. We noticed that our room hasn’t clean. I called the desk clerk if what time the housekeeping will clean our room. He informed that it might be around 2.00 to 4p.m. So we went out again and expecting that our room be cleaned and should be done by 4.p.m. We went back to our room at 5:15 P.m and our room hasn’t clean. There is no toilet papers and our towel were already used. The housekeeping didn’t even bother to check our room. So I inform the desk clerk that our room wasn’t clean. He offered me if I want to switch room but I declined because we were tired already and we need to rest. I just asked him to bring me new bath towels and toilet papers which was granted after 25 minutes.
