Lompoc calls itself “The City of Arts and Flowers” because more than 60 murals adorn the walls of its old town buildings; subjects range from steelhead fishing to dancing cows. A brochure providing information about the murals as well as a detailed map showing their locations is available at the chamber of commerce office weekdays, as well as the Lompoc Museum, and local hotels and motels.
