An all-you-can-eat bounty of three meats and an array of side dishes is served family-style in this homey dining room, a Boone fixture for more than 50 years. Fried chicken is always a feature, along with country ham biscuits. The rest of the menu changes a little bit daily. By the time dessert is offered, the general refrain heard around the dining room is, “I’m stuffed.” Be sure to bring a big appetite and cash (or use their ATM in the lobby); no credit cards are accepted.
