Indiana Legislators Will Be Considering Changes to Our GDL Law, and We Need Your Input!!
GDL is a three stage process of licensure that allows beginning drivers to acquire initial driving experience under lower risk conditions and then introduces them to more complex driving situations over a period of time. Indiana legislators will be considering changes to our GDL Law in 2008, and we would greatly appreciate your input as we better prepare to work with our General Assembly in changing this law. AAA Hoosier Motor Club and the IN GDL Coalition are working to improve Indiana's current Graduated Driver's Licensing (GDL) system in an effort to better protect young teen drivers as well as other motorists and non-motorists on our roadways.
