2024 Volvo S60 T8 Recharge Ultimate Dark Theme

The compact S60 Recharge sedan’s sporty, understated exterior styling is recognizably Volvo, but it’s what’s under the hood that’s cause for excitement: a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and electric motor that produce 455 hp and quick, responsive acceleration. The plug-in hybrid powertrain is also good for a strong EV-only range of 41 miles and a robust overall range of 530 miles. Overall fuel efficiency, at 35 mpg, is decent. The S60’s minimalist interior is replete with high-quality materials, including an Orrefors crystal shift knob. The S60’s sport-tuned suspension delivers a comfortable (but firm) ride, and the steering feels well balanced and responsive in everyday driving. Entry and exit from the front seats is easy, although back-seat room is a little tight. Overall fit and finish are excellent, and a comprehensive set of advanced safety features is standard. All-around visibility is good, although the rearview camera provides an odd, "fish-eye" perspective. AWD is standard. On the downside, the S60’s touch-screen-based infotainment system is nonintuitive and difficult to navigate, and it doesn’t support wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay integration. In addition, trunk and center-console storage space is limited.
