Much of this portion of US 6 is through a rural section of north central Pennsylvania. The two-lane road alternates between tree-lined stretches and open country. You’ll see small towns, distant mountains and the occasional barn and silo. While trees often inhibit the views of Pine Creek and the Allegheny River, both run alongside the route for a great distance. Watch for deer.
