Mount Equinox Skyline Drive, a steep, privately owned toll road open Memorial Day through October, takes visitors up the second highest peak in southern Vermont. Amazing panoramic views await you at the summit, which is 3,848 feet above sea level. The best time of year to experience the drive is fall, when captivating colors cascade more than 100 miles in every direction.
