Known for its connection with nature, Alabama’s Coastal Connection National Scenic Byway (SR 188/SR 193/SR 180/SR 135/SR 182) boasts stunning flora and fauna so have your binoculars and camera ready.

History enthusiasts and nature lovers delight in the scenery and sights along Alabama’s southern tip. A portion of the byway runs along the coast of Pelican, Mobile and Bon Secour bays—with their white sandy beaches and fishing villages. On SR 180, Fort Gaines and Fort Morgan overlook the site of the Civil War Battle of Mobile Bay.
