Along the Huntington Canyon Scenic Byway (SR 31), dry scrublands open up to fir, spruce and aspen pine forests on the slopes of the 10,000-foot-high Wasatch Plateau. The sweeping vistas over canyons, meadows and streams are spectacular. Stop at an overlook inside the Manti-La Sal National Forest to take in the revitalizing atmosphere.

Running mostly through the Manti-La Sal National Forest, the Huntington Canyon Scenic Byway (SR 31) displays natural beauty year-round. See white, snow-capped peaks in winter; wildflower laden slopes in spring; lush green woods in summer; and in autumn, the orange, red and yellow leaves create a welcome entrance to the forest.
