Haines Highway (PR 3) skirts Tatshenshini-Alsek Provincial Park, unveiling a serene environment of majestic mountain ranges framing a lush river valley in an isolated part of British Columbia. Use the pullouts for a panoramic view of alpine tundra scenery that changes to coastal forest with rocky outcroppings as you approach Pleasant Camp Border Crossing.

The summit of Haines Highway (PR 3) is a popular snowmobiling spot in winter. In spring, purple wildflowers complement the landscape palette of aqua lakes and creeks, green ground cover and slate-gray mountains. On a clear day, the sharp, snowcapped summit of the St. Elias Mountains crowns the alpine valley with a ring of diamond-ice peaks.
