Near the Georgia border off US 90 approximately 12 miles east of US 441, Osceola National Forest encompasses 201,364 acres consisting of flat country dotted with ponds and swamps. Fishing is available in numerous streams and ponds. Hunting is permitted, but a special license is required in the Osceola Wildlife Management Area by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
