Air TravelThe major Midwestern hub for Delta, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) is about 21 miles west of downtown off I-94 exit 198. Major commercial and international airlines offer regularly scheduled flights. Allow at least 45 minutes' travel time between the airport and downtown Detroit. Most taxi fares are on a meter system.
