About DriggsSettled by pioneers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1889, Driggs is the main trading center for the Teton Valley. The town center is an eclectic mix of Old West and contemporary, with specialty shops, art galleries, pubs, eateries and outdoor outfitters. Teton Valley Museum, 137 SR 33N, offers a glimpse into the area's history; phone (208) 354-6000.
If you're the outdoorsy type, embark on a horseback riding, hunting, mountain biking or skiing expedition. And if you can handle heights, why not check out the town from a hot air balloon? You can experience the oldest successful human-carrying flight technology during the Teton Valley Balloon Rally, a 4-day event held in early July.
