About LexingtonLexington is the site of the first conflict of the Revolutionary War, dramatized on the Lexington Battle Green during the Re-enactment of the Battle of Lexington in mid-April. Portions of Battle Road, the route used by British and American soldiers moving from Concord to Boston, now are covered by scenic SR 2A.
