About LincolnLincoln is the western terminus of one of the state's most popular scenic drives, the Kancamagus Highway. It's also the place with the first widely reported alien abduction Betty and Barney Hill, in 1961; there's a marker on US 3 near Shadow Lake Lane.

In September the New Hampshire Highland Games, featuring Scottish music, dancing and athletic competitions, is held at Loon Mountain Resort.
