About LisleKnown as “Arboretum Village” because of the town's 1,700-acre Morton Arboretum, Lisle was incorporated in 1852. Lisle Station Park preserves much of Lisle Depot, an important shipping and passenger facility that served the town. Hot air balloons are launched twice daily during the Lisle's Eyes to the Skies Festival in early July. Concerts, an arts and crafts fair, a parade, fireworks and a carnival also are offered.
